A Meditation on Faith: The Ultimate Heresy

Nothing gets “the faithful” more wound up than a non-believer doing the right thing for its own sake…

… beyond the promise of heaven or threat of hell…

… beyond the death grip of their “holy” books, priestly overseers, pet commandments, and invisible friends in the sky.

Alas, LOVE alone seems insufficient to motivate or satisfy them.

  1. Right! But they will still credit their god for your goodness. “See, see, god is working f through them even though they don’t believe!” Faith is blindness. Belief before knowledge is a hard toy to unwind. Thanks Frank.
