A Meditation on Civilization: Interfaith Dialogue

I believe in knowledge, beauty, opportunity, gratitude, courage, curiosity, honesty, friendship, compassion, adventure, diversity, community, humility, generosity, enjoyment, thrift, understanding, freedom, responsibility, reason, love, power, and justice.

To the degree that Christians, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, Agnostics, Pagans, Humanists, Existentialists, Capitalists, Socialists, Atheists, Conservatives, Liberals, and Scientists embrace and practice these universal, secular values I am a Christian, Muslim, Jew, Hindu, Buddhist, Agnostic, Pagan, Humanist, Existentialist, Capitalist, Socialist, Atheist, Conservative, Liberal, and Scientist.

All the doctrines and trappings that remain are recipes for division and strife.

Enough said.
