At the risk of pointing out the obvious… Has not all our material and moral progress been won by those who refused to be assimilated into the fold, who refused to allow others to define good and evil, right and wrong, true and false, beauty and ugliness, success and failure for them?

    • Thanks a bunch for sharing, Joszef! I resonate deeply with the notion of consultation as described. In fact, I hunger for it daily, but, alas, encounter it so rarely. True friendship as such is an extreme rarity in a world where most people remain blinded by their religious and political agendas…. blind to the fact that they even have agendas. Peace! PS. Maybe I am a Bahai and just don’t realize it! : )
