Obedience and conformity are submissions of the worst kind…

… little more than self-denial, servitude, cowardice, and abdication of responsibility spun into “virtues”.

Trust in my own sense of right and wrong is submission of the right kind…

A responsible freedom that needs no sanction… and that demands from me my very best.

The challenge, of course, is that “the simplest thing”… confidence in, and surrender to, my own moral compass… is sometimes the hardest leap of all.
