No Kings 2 (Albuquerque)

No Kings 2: National Day of Action (October 18, 2025), Albuquerque-style…

… the continuation of a growing movement for people of goodwill to stand up and be counted against the insidious wave of authoritarianism that’s threatening everything that truly makes America great.

Words of Thanks

To the No Kings leadership, organizers, volunteers, and thousands of “ordinary” citizens who had the courage and generosity of spirit to show up in such an empowering, peaceful way. THIS is what real democracy and patriotism look like. It made me so proud of my fellow New Mexicans and proud to be an American.

Special Note about the Images Below

I made meaningful contact with everyone you see in these pictures, always asked if I had permission to photograph them and show their faces online, and always respected their decision. As you can plainly see, most everyone courageously and proudly decided to do so.

Event Report

A joyous, heartening, peaceful, patriotic celebration of what it means to be an American, a reclaiming of the stars and stripes, and call to action. Bursting with inspiring messages of solidarity and justice, delivered with a perfect blend of seriousness and good humor by people from every walk of life.

  1. Bravi tutti! It was great to take part in one of the gatherings all over Seattle. My neighborhood featured hundreds of people, patriotism, gray hair, good cheer, dogs, signs, inflatable dinosaurs and chickens and axolotls. Very energizing. Onward!

    1. Teresa walks and Teresa rocks!!!

I really like your very very local approach as you described after your first No Kings.

I like your choice of word “energizing”… I’m still hungover and inspired to expand my engagement going forward.

      Onward indeed!

  2. Love all the photos, Frank! It was such an uplifting, motivational day everywhere, and it was wonderful making history together across the US and around the world! In Solidarity!

    1. Thanks so much for the most kind words of appreciation and resonance, Anita. I love and agree with your point that we are making history together… not just in the US but around the world!

      In Solidarity!

  3. Yea, Frank. Terrific! Some signs appear in various places, but I’d never seen the Antifa Sleeper Cells one before—so powerful!

And the finale is wonderful! You look great!

    In Solidarity,
    Annie

Yes, the Arlington poster was powerful indeed… new to me as well and one that really grabbed me deeply.

      In Solidarity,
      Frankie

  4. Looks like fun! And so necessary today to show that what is happening is not supported by most Americans. Good for you. Good pictures too. Thanks for sharing!

  5. At a boy, Frank. Might you be the fellow in the last photo, or is he your stunt double?
