Cecilienhof (Potsdam)
Cecilienhof was the site of the Potsdam Conference held at the summer of 1945 (9 weeks after Germany’s surrender in World War II) where Joseph Stalin (Soviet Union), Clement Atlee (United Kingdom), and Harry Truman (USA) met to negotiate the peace treaty and decide how to administer and rebuild occupied Germany.
