It’s All About the King!

Alas, the monarchs here are adept at turning themselves into demigod who are destined to rule and accumulate nauseating wealth, using Buddhism to manipulate the masses into meekly accepting corruption measure in the the many billions of dollars. (BTW, I was met with a swift and angry warning when I made a casual joke about a giant picture of the king playing frisbee with his dog.)

Kanchanaburi War Cemetery

Crossing the bridge on the River Kwai and paying my respects at the JEATH War Museum and Kanchanaburi War Cemetery… the final resting place for over 7,000 Commonwealth & Dutch soldiers who were worked to death by the Japanese while building the Burma Railway during World War II.
