To my dismay, the pilgrimage site created ostensibly to venerate The Lady of Fátima turned out to be a nauseating tourist trap at best. But worse. It’s actually a shameless, greedy money-maker expertly designed to exploit vulnerable, desperate people while giving them false hope. Alas, there was no humble grotto to be found… only a sprawling modern, empty campus almost completely devoid of life…
