Law Enforcement March (October 2, 2018)

I just happened to stumble upon a huge national protest by thousands of police officers marching for fair wages.
Chiefs from various law enforcement agencies.
A special moment with a policeman who appreciated that I marched along for a few miles.
Just a small sample of tributes to fallen officers.

    1. Thanks, man. I too am gettin’ old… but like you have been blessed with the opportunity to visit so many remarkable places and learn from so many remarkable people. Cheers!

  1. I am glad you included a section on the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, including the fight by the Jews until they were all murdered. The very long movie “Shoah” ends with a comment by a youth who was sent through the sewers to obtain supplies as the fight reached its last stages. When he returned, everyone was dead. If I recall correctly, the film ends with him saying something like, “I thought I was the last Jew on Earth.”

    1. Thank you for sharing that, Gerald. It’s so important that we remember and don’t turn our gaze away from the atrocities humans are capable of. Wishing you all the best, old friend.
